A profusion of sweet-scented blooms. This Bamboo orchid is unlike your typical grocery store orchid!
Three towering bamboo stocks of leaves and bright white blooms. This orchid is more like a living bouquet when it is in bloom. Each flower emits a light sweet scent that is both pleasant and delicate.
The flowers have elongated narrow petals compared to the more common phalaenopsis orchid. The ruffled petals and large lower petal give the impression that these flowers are in constant movement.

Dendrobium 'Apollon' Plant Care tips
Do not place your Bamboo Orchid in the direct light. Make sure it is safely tucked out of reach from the suns harmful rays. Their leaves are susceptible to burning if exposed to direct sunlight.
Temperature fluctuating is key to encouraging your orchid to rebloom. Blooms usually last 6 - 8 weeks in the ideal environment. Once they have fallen off, your orchid will need to sense a change in temperature in order to rebloom. You can encourage this by:
Maintaining cool day and night temperatures in the Autumn or Fall 10°C to 15°C.
Elevate the day and night temperatures in spring once buds appear 16°C to 18°C.
Maintain day temperatures once blooms form at 21°C to 24°C. And Provide lots of light!
The Bamboo Orchid grows in a bifurcating pattern. As the plant reaches the end of its life cycle it produces offsets with pseudobulbs. These can be left to grow into a new plant or separated and repotted later on.
