Native to Mexico and the Caribbean. The Coralbush plant has been introduced to gardens and can now be found growing throughout South America, and parts of Africa.
Who is the Coralbush plant?
The Coralbush plant gets its name from the showy coral red blooms. These blooms appear on thin stalks in a clustered formation resembling a coral reef!
Sometimes called the Guatemala Rhubarb plant, we highly suggest not eating the plant. IT belongs to the euphorbia genus. When the stems or leaves break they release a mildly toxic milky sap.

The Coralbush is a fast growing plant that prefers a bright sunny spot to spend its days. The whimsical little leaves fan out giving it a dreamy appearance. Pop the Coral bush in your sun room or living room.
Due to its fast growing nature the plant can reach heights of 2 to 3 meters. It definitely is better suited to bigger flats that can accommodate the size.
Care Instructions
Light
Bright Indirect to Partial Full Sun.
Water
Water every 5 to 10 days. Or when the top 5cm of soil has become completely dry. Do not allow the soil to dry out beyond this point.
Temperature
Ideal temperature range is between 16-28°C. The Coral bush can handle temperatures as low as 4°C.
Feeding
In the Spring and Summer fertilize every other watering using a balanced fertilizer such as 10-10-10.
Toxicity
Mildly Toxic.
Care
Spray the leaves down with water to remove any dirt or debris. Trim away yellowing leaves.
