A fun spiralling column-style cactus!
This spiralling column-style cactus is rare, unusual and eye-catching. A 'twist' on the popular cactus variety of Cereus forbesii. This particular cactus comes in a 19cm diameter growing pot so is also of a pretty impressive size, and will have been growing happily for years.
The kooky Spiral Cactus begins its life as a straight cactus, the ridges beginning to spiral once it reaches a height of approximately 10cm. In nature it usually grows as a shrub with numerous columns in a candelabra-like arrangement.
It thrives on neglect, requiring very infrequent watering, and is happiest in a warm, sunny room. As long as you don't fuss too much, you should have a sizeable Spiral Cactus for years to come.
All in all, this is a must-have for any cactus fan or rare plant connoisseur.
Please note that this cactus can vary in both height and width. Some are very 'spirally' others a little less so; it might be tall and thin or short and stubby. Revel in its uniqueness and don't waste your energy trying to train a cactus!

Care Instructions
Light
Find it a bright spot to keep it at its happiest but avoid direct sun until the plant is well established or it might scorch
Water
Allow the soil to dry in between watering me as I am drought-resistant. Water me more during summer months, less frequently during the winter. Never, ever leave me sitting in water or it might get root rot.
Temperature
I like normal room temperatures and don't do well in temperatures below 10 degrees C.
Feeding
Not specifically required but feed me during summer months if doing so.
Toxicity
I'm not toxic but my spines are very sharp so handle with care!

None
Care
I dislike humidity so don't place in bathrooms or steamy kitchens. If you'd like me to grow tall, repot every 1-2 years but make sure you use cacti compost.

I'm a South American native, more specifically from Argentina and also found in Brazil.
Size
I can grow to 4m in the wild but will remain much smaller indoors so don't worry! In the wild it will produce waxy pink/white flowers in the summer but these are rarely seen on indoor specimen
