A one-time Bloombox Club Subscription plant, the Philodendron Birkin 'White Wave' is named after the Birkin, Hermes' signature handbag.
This rare foliage plant bears little resemblance to its namesake, but both are highly coveted. Your White Wave has glossy green foliage in a broad heart-shape, finishing in a point.
Each leaf is marked by white variegated lines, which form a loose fractal pattern. Fractal patterns in nature have been shown to relax the mind and improve cognitive ability, making this a great plant to have in a home office or living space.

Fact: I have been known to produce purely white or green leaves and there's even evidence that I can randomly grow a Rojo Congo leaf!

I like bright indirect light and no direct sunlight.
Water
Allow top layer of soil to dry between waterings and water me less in winter.
Temperature
Room temperatures of 16-24°C are perfect.
Feeding
Feed me fortnightly from spring to autumn.
Toxicity
I am toxic so please don't eat me.
Grooming
Give my leaves a regular dusting.
Care
I like higher levels of humidity so please mist me or place me on a tray of pebbles. If the edges of my leaves are yellowing, you're probably overwatering me.
