Called the Autograph Tree as you can “write” on its leaves and a favourite of plant lovers due to the automatic peaceful feeling that this plant brings to your home.
In the wild, they grow on the side of other trees and when they're large enough, they begin to wrap around the tree. Then they bury their roots into the ground and begin to tower over the original tree.

I love bright light best and can live outdoors in the summer. I can also deal with medium light if needed.
I like my soil to be moist, but I'm a tough cookie and can deal with periods of drought.
Temperatures of 16-30°C are perfect.
Fertilise me monthly between March and August.
Wipe my leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust and trim me if needed in spring to a desired shape.
I like humidity so I'm perfect for a kitchen or bathroom

I am native to the Caribbean, mainly the Bahamas, Cuba and Puerto Rico.
I can reach heights of 6m in the wild but will grow to about 1m indoors.
I am toxic if eaten so keep me away from nibbly pets.
